This project came to be because my teacher assigned us a news broadcast project. I decided that parodying "E! News" would be really fun to mimic. I made up all the storylines and put together this video. I make a cameo in the tweets and photoshopped all my own pictures into them and in the headline, "Coming Up Next... Sam's Meltdown?".
This video was inspired by my friend Maria, who stars in it, because she is very afraid of my cat. I did run out of time on this project so I did have to cut corners but the concept is there.
For my first video project in my high school career, I focused on rivaling Girl Scouts. I am a Girl Scout myself so I know the struggle of trying to sell cookies, though it never gets this intense.
This makeup palette project was inspired by albums by Drake, Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, Drake (again), The Weeknd, and Kendrick Lamar. The covers were inspired by overall symbols that were found throughout the album that both had similar shapes so I could mirror the shape in the top right corner. The colors in the palettes were all taken from the original album cover with the eyedrops tool and each song in the album has their own color.
This was my final project for my Art Seminar class. We had watched a lot of artist documentaries from Art21 so I decided to make one for myself.
